Local farmers look satisfied with the sale of their red dates.

With support from a charity-minded business start-up association at Nankai University, the China Post Group's branch in north China's Shanxi Province initiated "Green Channels" to facilitate the sale of Chinese red dates in recent weeks.

Prior to Spring Festival, Topics in Focus, one of the most-watched shows on China Central Television (CCTV), covered the poor market for Chinese red dates faced by local farmers in Lin County, Shanxi. This has helped local villagers win a bigger market share.

Accordingly, a rising number of buyers across the nation have placed orders for these dates through China Post.

So far, local residents have reaped huge benefits.
