Gu Songxue, an employee from the China Post Group's branch in Yangzhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province, was named as one of the winners in a national campaign to select representatives of rural migrants.
He is the first person from China Post who has ever received the title.
Gu has fully devoted himself to the delivery of newspapers, letters and postal packages over the past three decades.
So far, more than three million newspapers and around 1.78 million letters have reached the hands of their owners via him.
Meanwhile, Gu has received various honors from local branches for his dedication to postal affairs.
