Vice-Managers and responsible persons in charge of postal package delivery from China Post Group's provincial and municipal branches across the nation got together at a conference held in east China's Shanghai Municipality on March 31- April 1, to talk about the further growth of businesses related to e-commerce, cross-border package delivery, an improvement of professional services and market exploration of commercial and governmental affairs.
At the gathering, Vice-President of China Post Zhang Ronglin highlighted the importance of e-commerce platforms to the giant increase of international packages and corresponding revenues, a consistent improvement of its service in cross-border delivery, and a regulation of management activities in the market.
He called on local branches to closely engage in the promotion of e-commerce packages, increase the competence of staff members, and better regulate daily market activities.
Representatives from Chinese Aliexpress and the U.S. ContextLogic Inc.'s Wish, two e-commerce platforms, spoke to the audience about further cooperation with China Post, and the future growth of cross-border e-commerce in terms of development trends, strategic outlines and delivery service.
