Hangzhou citizens in east China's Zhejiang Province wait in long queue to buy 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit commemorative stamps that were offered for sale on August 27.[China Post] |
Thousands of Hangzhou citizens in east China's Zhejiang Province struggled in long lines to buy 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit commemorative stamps that went on sale on August 27.
"I came here yesterday afternoon. For such an important international summit, it is worth waiting. I will keep them as souvenirs," a man surnamed Zhou said cheerfully as he got the first stamp.
With a pale green tone, the stamp includes the logo of the summit, Broken Bridge and Baochu Tower, making it full of lingering charm about the southern river land.
Following the Hangzhou West Lake special stamp issued in 1989, it was the second time that West Lake appeared on the national business card. It is the first time that local Zhejiang elements were integrated into an international event commemorative stamp.
In addition to the stamp, China Post Group also issued commemorative envelopes, folders, yearbooks and other product series that were on sale at outlets in Zhejiang Province.
