The Guizhou provincial branch of China's national Postal Savings Bank was honored as a "Worker's Pioneer" for its professional competence during a contest in Guiyang, capital city of southwest China's Guizhou Province, on May 27.
Co-sponsored by the Trade Unions from the Guiyang Central Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China and the Guizhou Provincial Finance and Trade Finance Union, the event drew the attendance of representatives from nine banking organizations across the region and aimed to further promote the competence of staff in their daily work.
Meanwhile, Deng Deling, Deng Yandan and Deng Yanhong, three employees from the Guizhou Provincial Branch of the Postal Savings Bank, took gold, silver and bronze respectively in a competition in which they identified fake currency and counted bills against the clock.
