A ceremony was held at Shandong Museum in Jinan, capital city of east China's Shandong Province, on July 7 to mark the official opening of the Shandong Online Memorial Hall of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the launch of the Shandong Exhibition on the Anti-Japanese War.
In response to efforts to help the public learn more about the tragic war, the Shandong Provincial Branch of the China Post Group set up a post office at the museum on the same day, and released postcards and a postmark in connection with the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese military occupation in 1930s and 1940s.
According to the Shandong Provincial Branch of the China Post Group, it will introduce more postal products in relation to the Anti-Japanese War during the ongoing exhibition, which is expected to run until the end of this year.
