The China Post Group officially released a pair of postage stamps in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations (UN) at a ceremony held at an exhibition area reserved for postal products related to foreign affairs at the 2015 China International Collection Expo in Beijing on September 26.
The newly released pair of stamps, valued at 2.70 yuan (U.S. $ 0.425), were created by famous domestic designer Guo Zhenshan and aim to showcase Chinese people's love for and dedication to peace and development.
At the release ceremony, Vice-President of the China Post Group Li Pizheng, along with Chairperson of the UN Association of China and the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs Lu Shumin, unveiled the pair of stamps.
