At the 2015 China International Collection Expo, the China National Philatelic Corporation released a commemorative envelope to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Cuba at a ceremony held at the expo's sixth hall in Beijing on September 28.
Cuba is the first Latin American nation to establish diplomatic relations with China.
Those attending the release ceremony included Alberto J. Blanco Silva, ambassador of Cuba to China, Yu Yue, deputy director-general of the Department of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs in China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Zhang Ronglin, vice-president of the China Post Group.
