The China Post Group's branch in Sansha City, south China's Hainan Province, opened a post office based on the Maritime Silk Road's theme on Yongxing Island during January 1.

In addition to providing local residents and stationed military forces with regular postal services, the newly opened post office was also authorized to issue various postal products in relation to the local scenery and Maritime Silk Road.
