A Cross-Strait Financial R&D Center and the Cross-Strait RMB Business Center by the Postal Savings Bank of China were officially inaugurated at a forum in Xiamen, southeast China's Fujian Province, on June 15.

The Cross-Strait Financial R&D Center is engaged in the innovation of cross-border financial business among free trade zones in Xiamen and southeast China's Taiwan, while the Cross-Strait RMB Business Center will promote RMB use at banks and corporations.

The Xiamen Branch of the Postal Savings Bank of China also announced during the 8th Cross-Strait Free Trade and Financial Forum that it will help business at the two centers and establish a regional cross-border financial services brand.
