Recently, Jingjiang Postal Branch in Jiangsu Province installed a smart acquiring system for a hotel, which provided the hotel with easy access to payment channels, pre-authorization, detail query, transaction reconciliation, etc., indicating the successful deployment of smart hotel system by postal enterprises in the province. Thus, it marks that the five types of smart service scenarios, including smart canteen, campus, medical care, hotel and supermarket, which China Post Group has mainly promoted this year, have been fully deployed in Jiangsu.
Jiangsu Postal Branch has organized practical training of smart service scenarios since November 2021, encouraging postal branches at city-level to explore such practice, and successfully fostering a number of scenario projects with distinctive features and innovative models. Among them, Taizhou Postal Branch has developed a smart ordering and payment system in campus canteens, which acquired 2,086 customers, and succeed in opening basic business accounts, generating an average monthly deposit capital of 1.5 million yuan (about 235,500 US dollars). Suqian Postal Branch has organized a cross-sectorial team and seized the opportunity of strengthened anti-epidemic and digital upgrading efforts on campus, and successfully finished the "smart campus" project with a scale of 5,000 people. Based on medical care scenarios, Nanjing Postal Branch has begun to provide intra-city drug delivery service, where community members order drugs online, and postal carriers fulfill the door-to-door delivery of the orders. Xuzhou Postal Branch has developed projects of local large supermarkets, which helped increase current savings by 2 million yuan (about 314,000 US dollars) in the first quarter of 2022 alone, and develop 20 clients with salary payment service.
